Dr. Chérie Carter-Scott designed the "Original" MMS Coach Training in 1974. It was presented as the first certified Coach Training in San Francisco in 1975. Since then MMS has been certifying coaches worldwide. An MMS trained coach is an "Empty Vessel" who assists another in cutting through to the core of issues with laser focus, gaining clarity about situations that are confusing, uncertain, or worrisome. A coach helps his client see his situation from a new perspective, integrating thoughts and feelings in choosing a course of action and moving forward to formulate tangible results.
The coaching process is about going on an Inner journey with a non-judgmental guide who uncovers motivation, illumination of preferences, and choices.
